We will meet you at your lodge or hotel in Arusha for a brief safari briefing either the day before or on the morning of your safari departure. Your safari begins with a journey to Tarangire National Park, known for its rich wildlife population, especially during the dry season from May to October. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes, including savannahs and wetlands, home to numerous bird species. Enjoy a full day of game driving, encountering iconic African wildlife amidst the tranquility of the savannah. Dinner and overnight stay at Twiga Campsite or similar.
After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater, passing through the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands. Descend into the crater, renowned for its high density of wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, leopard, black rhino, buffalo, and elephant. Witness herds of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle, along with other fascinating animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue game driving before returning to Twiga Campsite for dinner and overnight.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse wildlife. Explore the park on a full-day game drive, encountering various animal species and enjoying the picturesque scenery. Afterward, return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.
